Where the light found me

There’s a moment sometimes when things finally start falling into place. The light shifts, things feel easier, warmer, brighter. And for one second it’s as if the weight of the world has lifted. 

This piece was built slowly, layer by layer. Honestly, each was a struggle, I fought and fought through this to find the light. 

It’s not just about flowers, or magical gardens, it’s about catching something that is fleeting and holding on to it. 

This painting has brought me warmth, light and a sense of wonder, I hope it can bring the same things into your home.
