About the painting
This painting was chosen for an exhibition in Worcester, the them was ‘Enough to see, not enough to see by’. I had the idea to create a dreamy portrait with sunflowers that come in and out of focus. There are many layers to this painting, the colour is very vibrant, created through many layers of oil paint.
