The Spirit of the Wild – Behind My Wild and Free Animal Collection
There is something undeniably powerful about animals in their natural state—untamed, free, and full of grace. This deep admiration for the wild has always been a source of inspiration in my work, and it's what led me to create the Wild and Free Collection.
Each painting in this collection captures the raw beauty of wildlife, showcasing majestic creatures in a way that reflects their unique energy and presence. From the commanding strength of a lion to the quiet elegance of a snow leopard, my goal is to celebrate the individuality of each animal, while bringing their spirit into the spaces we inhabit.
Growing up, I was always drawn to animals, both big and small. I spent countless hours sketching birds, mammals, and everything in between. But it was my fascination with large cats—tigers, lions, jaguars, and leopards—that first sparked the idea for this collection. These animals, with their sheer power and grace, have always been a symbol of freedom to me.
In creating Zahar the Lion, I wanted to capture not just his strength, but the calm dignity in his gaze.
Zina the Jaguar, with her sleek coat and mysterious charm, embodies the quiet confidence of a predator.
Sapphire the Snow Leopard brings a sense of serenity, while Zion the Tiger radiates power and poise.
Each animal tells its own story through their posture and expression, inviting you to connect with the wild in a deeply personal way.
But the Wild and Free Collection doesn’t stop with the big cats. This series will soon expand to include more wildlife, from soaring birds to pack animals and oven smaller creatures often overlooked but equally fascinating. The beauty of nature is in its diversity, and I want this collection to reflect that by showcasing animals of all shapes and sizes, each with their own story to tell.
For me, the joy of painting wildlife is in capturing the essence of each creature—their energy, their freedom, and the landscapes they roam. These paintings aren’t just art; they’re a reminder of the wild world outside our doors, a world worth protecting and celebrating.
